The war that broke out on Tigray on November 4th 2020 has displaced 2+ million civilians, has reportedly killed 150,000+ civilians and has put over 5 million of the population at risk of starvation and famine. Cases of sexual violence are rampant and women and children continue to be the most affected.

We hope to provide some comfort by offering some financial and emotional support.

TYN works with various fundraisers to get assistance out to those in need. We have an ongoing partnership with Rise Up For Tigray who have raised over £30,000 (2m+ birr) to help the victims of war & Tigrayans displaced in Sudan & Tigray.

Donations TYN receives will fund these charities as well as support TYN in order to organize and facilitate advocacy and fundraising events. These donations will help towards covering some of these tasks’ running costs for TYN as a not-for-profit NGO focused on helping those in need.
